first, an apology for letting this page lie fallow for so long-- my new year's resolution is to
truly update things on a monthly basis. With most of my gigging being with two bands with
their own websites (www.silverarmmusic.com and www.yankeeceltic.com) it's too easy just
to let things slide. But I will do my best to note here especially my solo gigs in a timely manner.
so:
Dec. 19, 2009-- Yankee Celtic Consort will be doing our Christmas show at Byrne's Pub, 1248 W. 3rd Ave. Columbus, OH at 8:30 or so, caroling into the wee hours-- this show is always full of surprises (to me not least) so stop on by--
Jan. 9, 2010-- I may or may not be joining the Timbrewolves for a trek down to Athens to play (fiddle) for their Dance Series (8-11) at OU. I'll put in more details when I get them...
this is turning into a gig blog, isn't it? just as well.
Jan. 10, 2010-- Randy Clepper and I are anchoring the Irish session at the Claddagh Pub, 585 S. Front St., in Columbus' Brewery District, from 7 to 10 pm. Come on down if you've never seen one ;-)
Jan.29, 2010-- Silver Arm will be at our favorite restaurant gig at (don't let the name fool you) the Dilly Deli in The Strand in tony Mariemont, OH, just east of Cincinnati proper, from 7 to 10 pm. The Dilly has the most amazing selection of wines and beers for your delectation, and great sit-down dinners; it's not just about pastrami sandwiches. One of our favorite venues for years now.
